We collect your email address when you make a purchase or submit an institutional enquiry. We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or payment card details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack — we never see or store card information.
When you activate or verify a licence, the desktop and Android apps also send an anonymous device fingerprint — a one-way hash of your device's CPU model, memory size, operating system version and device name. We store this hash solely to lock your licence to one device and prevent PIN sharing. It cannot be reversed to identify you or your hardware, and it is never used for advertising or tracking.
Your practice answers, scores and session history stay on your device and are never uploaded.
Your email address is used solely to deliver your software license activation PIN after purchase, and to respond to institutional procurement enquiries. We do not use your email for marketing without your explicit consent.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data with third parties only where it is needed to run the service or as Nigerian law requires: with Resend to deliver your licence PIN by email, with Paystack to process payment, and with Meta (Facebook) for website measurement as described in section 6.
We retain your email address for the duration of your license and up to 12 months after expiry for support purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@apexcbt.com.
This website uses the Meta Pixel so we can measure how well our advertising works. It records when a page is viewed, when a checkout is started, and when a purchase completes, and it sets cookies in your browser.
We deliberately keep this to a minimum. We send Meta only the purchase amount, the currency and the payment reference. We never send your name, your email address, or anything about your exam practice, scores or results. Nothing you do inside the ApexCBT application is tracked — the software runs entirely offline and reports nothing to us or to anyone else.
You can opt out by using your browser’s tracking protection or an ad blocker, or by adjusting your Meta ad preferences. Blocking it does not affect your ability to buy, download or use ApexCBT.
If you are under 18, we encourage you to ask a parent or guardian before purchasing, and to use your browser’s tracking protection if you would prefer not to be measured.
